Australian King Parrot.
Australian King Parrot male perched on a tree branch. The male King Parrot stands out in the forest with his bright red head, breast and belly. They light up extra brightly in the sun, which is a rare occasion. These parrots prefer to hang out in dark, wet forests between the trees where they feed on fruits and seeds. His back is bright green and the long tail is dark in colour. Taken in South East Queensland, Australia.
