Sulphur Crested Cockatoo munches on Macademia nuts. These delicious nuts are the world's toughest nut to crack, but to this bird it's absolutely no effort! It's foot and powerful beak are the perfect tools. He's a messy eater though and spills a lot. Sulphur Crested Cockatoos are large white birds with a yellow crest. Their call is a noisy screech. They are very social birds and can be seen in a wide variety of wooded habitats in most parts of Australia.
Taken in south-east Queensland, Australia.
