Description
The Coastal Jack Bean is a vine that grows on beaches and sand dunes, just above the high tide mark. It produces pretty pink or purplish flowers all year round, but mainly from May – September. It's a climbing plant with small flowers (15mm) and large thick green leaves (10x12cm), 3 of which form a compound leaf. The plant can cover large areas of ground and is a good sand stabilizer. It’s native to Northern and Eastern Australia, and is widespread from WA to NSW. It goes by many names such as Beach Bean, Mackenzie Bean and Sea Bean.
Taken in south east Queensland, Australia.

I would add another wow to Martin's comment. What is amazing is the beauty that surrounds us that we don't always see. Maryse, you have the gift of seeing beauty everywhere!
