Description
Grey Butcherbird.
There is not a lot of grey colour actually on a Grey Butcherbird. It is mostly white and black which contrasts really nicely with the green foliage in the background. It is a beautiful bird with a sharply hooked beak which it needs to 'butcher' large prey. Butcherbirds are well known and loved for their beautiful song! They are common in woodlands throughout most of Australia, except the north. Taken in south-east Queensland, Australia.
