Marbled Frogmouth keeps an eye out Baby Onesie

Even though nocturnal, the Marbled Frogmouth always keeps an eye out, caught in this portrait taken in South East Queensland, Australia.

Marbled Frogmouths look a lot like an owl. But they aren't actually owls, they are much closer related to the Night Jar. As opposed to their commonly seen and widespread Tawny Frogmouth look alikes, this species is uncommon to rare and only seen in limited areas. They stand out by their intense orange eyes and pale eyebrow.
