Murray Falls in Girramay National Park is a part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area in tropical north Queensland. The falls are beautiful and cascade down the rocks plunging into deep rock pools. After a fair amount of recent rain, the waterfall is at a good strength, quite spectacular! The campsite is so close to the falls that the sound of the crushing water accompanies you to a peaceful sleep.
The National Park name refers to the traditional owners of the land: the Girramay Aboriginal People who are also involved in the management of the National Park.
