Olive-backed Oriole, perched and nicely framed by the branch and the leaves that match the colour of the bird. The Olive-backed Oriole is a slender, medium-sized bird with an olive-green head and back. The underparts are white with browns streaks and the tail is grey. The beak is red-pink and they eye is bright red. They can be found in northern and eastern Australia, all the way around the east coast to Adelaide in South Australia, mostly in forests and woodlands or parks with lots of trees. Olive-backed Orioles feed on insects and fruits, sometimes in small groups but usually alone or in pairs. Taken in south-east Queensland, Australia
