Description
Pacific Baza Silhouette
The Pacific Baza is a bird of prey. It is a medium sized hawk, recognizable by the distinct crest, the heavily barred underparts and the bright yellow eyes. The head, neck and breast are grey. It lives in forested areas in northern and eastern Australia. As it's perched in the late afternoon sun, we see a beautiful silhouette, framed by the branches and leaves of the trees, against a blue sky.
Taken in south-east Queensland, Australia.
