Pied Oystercatcher
Pied Oystercatchers are an easy to recognize shorebird. They are 50cm tall, feathered black and white. They have a bright orange-red bill, eye-ring and eye and coral-pink legs. They feed on mulloscs on beaches around Australia.
Taken on a beach in tropical north Queensland, Australia.
