Description
Close-up of the flowers of a blossoming Tea Tree. Leptospermum Scoparium is native to south-east Australia and New Zealand. Its size can range from a scrub to a moderate sized tree. Flowers have 5 petals and are white or pink and cover the tree in spring and autumn. The tree is called Manuka Tea Tree in New Zealand. The Manuka honey is well known for it's medicinal properties as is the essential oil of the Tea Tree.Taken in South East Queensland, Australia.
