Description
Close up of flowers of the Short-leaved Bitter-Pea. This is a dense shrub, up to 2m tall, with tiny stiff and pointy leaves. It flowers in winter and spring with very small yellow pea flowers with red markings. The plant grows on stony soils on dry ridges and slopes. Taken in south-east Queensland, Australia.
