The effect of the sunlight on the waves in the water makes the lone Little Black Cormorant in the water look like it's putting on a show and being tracked by a spotlight. The excited audience of Cormorants is cheering it on! Little Black Cormorants are a small black Cormorant and can be found in fresh-water environments or estuaries in large parts of Australia and New Zealand as well as parts of Asia and some Pacific Islands. They congregate in large flocks and feed on fish and crustaceans.
