Description
This pretty little yellow flower known as the Yellow Rush Lily is no bigger then 2cm! The flowers have 3 petals and 3 sepals, which makes it look like there are 6 petals. It’s a small herbal plant that grows in grasslands and woodlands and is native to south-eastern Australia. It has narrow leaves at the base of slender wiry stems. The flowers grow in spring and summer at the end of the branches. After flowering, the flowers curl up in a spirally twist. Taken in south east Queensland, Australia.
