Koalas can be found in open woodlands in coastal areas of eastern and southern Australia. Koalas are an iconic Australian species. Despite their popularity they are a threatened species and need all the help they can get! Taken in south east Queensland, Australia.
Numbers of this beautiful animal are seriously declining and they have finally been listed as endangered in 2022. I am so grateful to live in an area where there are still a few and you can imagine how special it is each time I see one. I am so happy to be able to share my images with you.
