Description
Bloodwood Tree
Bloodwood Trees belong to the genus Corymbia, which is a part of the Myrtaceae family, generally referred to as eucalyptus. You can see the blood-coloured resin leeching out of the bark on the left side, which obviously has given the tree the name Bloodwood Tree. Set against a backdrop of an intense blue sky and a Eucalyptus forest. Taken in Cania Gorge National Park, Queensland, Australia.
