Koalas spend their days high up in these trees snoozing and munching on some fresh leaves. Sometimes they peek down curiously at the human ground dwellers that look up at them.
Koalas can be found in open woodlands in coastal areas of eastern and southern Australia. Koalas are an iconic Australian species. Despite their popularity they are an endangered species and need all the help they can get! Taken in south east Queensland, Australia.
Numbers of this beautiful animal are seriously declining and they have finally been listed as endangered in 2022.
