Description
Koala Peeking
Koala Peeking down from its branch high up in the Gum Tree. The angle gives a good view on the sharp claws it uses to climb the trees. Koalas spend their days high up in these trees snoozing and munching on some fresh leaves. Sometimes they peek down curiously at the human ground dwellers that look up at them.
Koalas can be found in open woodlands in coastal areas of eastern and southern Australia. Koalas are an iconic Australian species. Despite their popularity they are an endangered species and need all the help they can get! Taken in south east Queensland, Australia.
Numbers of this beautiful animal are seriously declining and they have finally been listed as endangered in 2022. I am so grateful to live in an area where there are still a few and you can imagine how special it is each time I see one. I am so happy to be able to share my images with you. To help save this beautiful species I have decided that when you buy a print of one of my koala images, I will donate 50% of my proceeds to the Wildlife Warriors' Koala Conservation Project.
