Description
Blue Lily is a beautiful native Australian waterlily, with a blue-purple or violet colour. It grows in tropical areas in north Queensland, Northern Territory and Western Australia. The flowers grow on stalks above the water in fresh-water ponds and are frequented by insects such as bees and dragonflies. Certain birds, fish and turtles like to live amongst the waterlilies as well. Taken in Tropical North Queensland.
