Description
The beautiful blue or purple fruit of the Dianella Congesta, commonly known as Dune -, Beach-, or Coastal Flax Lily. The plant can best be described as tufted grass or a strappy leaf plant. Flowers are small and pretty and also of a blue-purple colour. The plant can reach about half a metre in height and can be found in Queensland and New South Wales. The berries are reported to be edible
Taken in south east Queensland, Australia.
