Description
Barron Falls (Din Din in Aboriginal language) cascades down massive rock formations in Barron Gorge National Park from Kuranda in the Atherton Tablelands down to Cairns. The falls can be viewed from above when you take the Skyrail which is an experience you will never forget. The Scenic Railway takes you to a couple of lookouts where you can view the falls as well. The Barron Falls are part of The Wet Tropics World Heritage Area and are surrounded by rainforest. This photo was taken in winter, the dry season, even then it was impressive!
