Description
Male Golden Whistler perched on a branch in the rain forest. Golden Whistlers are known for their loud and melodious song. Males have a black head, a white throat that is separated from their bright yellow chest and underparts by a black band. Their back and wings are olive green and their legs and beak are black. They feed on insects, spiders and berries.
They are common in rain forests, forests and woodlands in coastal parts of eastern and southern Australia. Taken in south east Queensland, Australia.
