Description
This slightly grumpy looking chick of the Superb Fairy-wren is momentarily alone while its parents are finding it food. It looks like its trying to hide behind this single leaf, like only little ones can do!
Fairy-wrens are very popular birds in Australia and live in the undergrowth of wooded areas. Taken in South East Queensland, Australia.

Congratulations on being named among ‘Dawn’s Delights’ this week. This image has that extra something special that makes it an extraordinary image. The title combined with the image made me smile - use of the rule of thirds emphasize the tiny bird alone in the great big world!
