Description
Orange Mangrove Flowers. The Orange Mangrove is a mangrove tree native to Australia. The 15cm large leaves are thick and leathery. It produces interesting looking orange-red flowers which are about 4cm long. Out of those 20cm long, cigar-shaped fruits develop. The Orange Mangrove prefers less saline soils then the Grey Mangrove so it can be found on the more inland fringes of the mangrove forests. Taken in south-east Queensland, Australia.
